Both founders of the company come from medical backgrounds. Dr. Johan Fourie - diagnostic radiologist and Mrs. Yolandi Fourie - radiographer and both are directors of the company.

This technology, which is not available through NHS hospitals, helps to form strong and lasting bonds between the mother and her unborn baby. Just seeing the baby move and having such amazing images really brings the whole family closer together.

Thanks to advances in technology, we can now obtain 3-dimensional pictures and even 4-dimensional live video (where time is the fourth dimension). These amazing images are captured on DVD where you can watch it over and over again!

The examinations will be done utilizing the most advanced medical imaging equipment available. Fully trained sonographers do all of our examinations. Our high standards are ensured as all our sonographers are HPC registered and registered with the Society of  Radiographers, BMUS and UKAS. By keeping our standards this high, you can always feel safe as with us, it is really NOT JUST A PRETTY PICTURE.

At BABY4D the Sonographephers  are using the BMUS  safety guidelines for ALL the scans they do. By bringing these two together, we place ourselves among the best, if not the best 4D provider in the country.

Parents can see an amazingly realistic live image of their baby before birth and the images resulting from the exam can be recorded to DVD, prints, and digital image CD's. A pregnancy is a very special and unique experience in a family's life, and we believe it should be treated that way. Recent studies have shown the positive influence a 3D/4D ultrasound can have for expectant parents, concluding that often the expectant father becomes more connected to the child and more emotionally involved in the pregnancy overall. Anecdotal evidence indicates a positive emotional experience will foster early bonding and a sense of security in your family.
