Rail Canterbury is a specialist in European Rail Travel and can provide tickets and reservations for virtually any destination in Mainland Europe. With a combined total of more than 60 years experience in this field, Phil, Jacky and Beatrice will be happy to help you with all your travel requirements.

We are located at 39 Palace Street in Canterbury, Kent, which is approximately 10 minutes walk from either Canterbury West or Canterbury East railway stations. With ample car park space nearby, we can also welcome visitors coming by car but, if you are not able to visit us in person, we can also help you by phone, fax or e-mail.

Eurostar
Eurostar run the high speed train services between London Waterloo International and Ashford International to Calais Freshen, Lille Europe and Paris in France or Brussels in Belgium. For over 10 years this has been the fastest way to travel from the UK to Mainland Europe and is also the starting point for travelling to further destinations. There are also now daily trains to Disneyland Paris as well as seasonal direct trains to Avignon in France and to the French ski resorts near Bourg St. Maurice.

As agents for Eurostar, we are able to sell tickets to all the above destinations and more.

European Rail
We have direct access to most European countries’ reservation and ticketing systems so we are able to organise your travel to almost any destination in Mainland Europe. You may know exactly where you would like to go, and how to get there, in which case call on us and we can arrange it all for you.

Equally, however, you may need a little help and so, with a few suggestions and the whole of the European Rail network at your disposal, we will be able to tailor make a holiday just for you. If you would like to venture further than just Paris or Brussels, please contact us and we will be pleased to offer our assistance.

Many further destinations can now be reached in a day. For example the French Riviera, Northern Italy, most of Germany and Switzerland are all less than 12 hours travelling time away from London, and some a lot less than that. If you want to travel even further afield then the modern night trains may be for you.
