The King's Mile is located in the heart of historic Canterbury, set in an area of natural beauty and rich history and is easily accessible by all modes of transport.
Located alongside Canterbury’s medieval city walls and the beautiful cathedral, The King's Mile lies to the North East of the city centre.

By Car
Canterbury can be reached by most major routes and motorways. Take the A2, signposted Canterbury and Dover. Once on the A2, Canterbury will be signposted towards the A2050
On arrival, there are a number of car parks in the surrounding area that make visiting The King's Mile, simple and convenient. We recommend the following car parks for ease of use, location and proximity:
- Pound Lane - 148 spaces
- St Radigunds - 304 spaces
- North Lane - 77 spaces
- Northgate - 70 spaces
- Orange Street - 18 spaces (Disabled Parking Only)

By Train
Canterbury East & West Stations are within a 10 minute walk of The Kings Mile.

By Bus
Travelling to and from Canterbury on the bus is a cheap, easy, clean and safe experience. There are frequent services to and from Canterbury from most towns & villages within East Kent, and within the city itself.

By Foot
Once you have arrived in the city centre, you will find that The King's Mile is situated very centrally, adjacent to the Cathedral grounds, starting where Guildhall Street meets High Street.
If you are new to the city, follow the signs for the Christchurch gate at the front of the Cathedral entrance.
