Half Term Happenings
With half-term just next week and the days steadily getting lighter, now is a great time to come along to the Kings Mile and see what's on offer.
Since the turn of the year, much has changed along this historical stretch of the city centre. Construction of a new mini-mall "The King's Mile Arcade" has started, some new shops and businesses have cropped up and some new faces have joined the community, adding to the already diverse community we are all used to.
If you have bored kids, you should try popping along to Espression, on the edge of Palace Street and The Borough.
Next week sees the introduction of some new and exciting activities for all you creatives out there! Mosaic creations are the order of the day, with a whole selection of items such as picture frames, plaques, jewellery boxes, containers and mirrors ready and waiting for you to add you own creative style.
The shop recently stocked up on tons of coloured tiles and some beautiful examples of what you can create can be seen in store. So if you've been before and have tried pottery painting, why not give mosaic making a try? It's great fun, cost-effective and ideal for all ages. For more information, call the shop on 01227 765665 or visit the shop at 29-30 Palace Street, The Kings Mile, Canterbury CT1 2DZ.
